    Can you...?

    1. Aim for zero food waste in your bin 
    2. Ensure the majority of your food is seasonal and locally produced  
    3. Make at least two days a week meat-free
    4. Eat red meat no more than once a week
    5. If you eat meat or fish on the other days, buy it from sustainable and ethical sources 
    6. Make at least two days a week dairy free 
    7. Eat at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day (or, better still, 7)
    8. Make beanschickpeaslentils or other legumes at least one of these portions 
    9. Choose wholegrain carbohydrates, such as wholegrain rice and wholewheat bread and avoid refined carbohydrates 
    10. Buy no more than one processed "treat" item high in fat, sugar or salt each week, e.g. cakes, sweets, biscuits or crisps
    11. Stop buying products with unnecessary packaging and recycle whenever possible (visiting your local recycling centre for items not collected at the kerbside)
    12. Stop buying bottled water
